This is a great time to work on the basics!

This is a progressive half day session and is intended for you to be able to go home and apply the techniques learned to every day interaction with your animals, as well as getting them prepared for anything you would like to do with them this riding and driving season.

Groundwork establishes:

• Respect, trust, leadership and confidence.

• It teaches horses to follow a feel, they learn to think versus react and deal with pressure.

• It teaches the human to develop and advance their timing and feel and leadership skills.

Every horse, no matter the age, can benefit from these exercises. They are the basis for everything and they are also THE first steps in my training process when preparing a horse to learn to be driven. With limited communication tools, our driving horses need to be able to understand how every cue is connected to their feet.

Limited to 8 participants.

$80.00 / person Arena fees vary, therefore they are not included in the clinic cost.
