Carl and I bring a life time of horse experience to the business!
Having grown up with horses in Switzerland, my background was dressage and jumping, until I was introduced to the beauty of the American west.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Carl was introduced to horses as a young man when he signed up for a pack school in Idaho’s back country.
There was nothing more fun and relaxing, we thought, than trail riding – until we were bitten by the driving bug!
We spent over 20 years in the guest ranch industry wrangling, guiding, packing and teaching guests about horses. Safety has always been our utmost priority, when taking on the responsibility of taking riders out on trails.
Our dedication to your safety carries over to our present business, providing fun and memorable wagon, carriage and trolley rides for your special events.
In 1994 we were fortunate to have met Teamster Hall of Fame inductee, the late Rusty Hebel. His teachings have stayed with us thru all these years. Along the way we soaked up valuable help, information and guidance from various other knowledgeable horseman and teamsters.
We hone our skills using our horses for farm work and competitions alike. You will have seen us at the Ravalli County Fair and the Deer Lodge Draft Horse Expo.
And while Carl is happy to stick with two horses, I myself love the challenge of driving multiples, such as 3 and 4 a-breasts, unicorn and 4-up.
In 2015 I won the Master Teamster Classic at the Deer Lodge Draft Horse Expo with our good “old” team Elf and Spike.
